"The purpose of life is to discover your gift. The work of life is to develop it. The meaning of life is to give your gift away." -David Viscott
Photography started for me by chance and somehow grew into something more. As a mother of 4 children with such a vast age range, I’m literally going through big firsts and big lasts and it's really bittersweet. It’s the little moments in our ordinary every day life that mean the most to me. The way my daughter’s hair curls after a shower, or the way her little fingers fit my palm and how her face lights up when she smiles and for a minute she looks like a little chipmunk or how my 18 year old son looks more and more like a man and less a boy, the quirkiness of his smirk and the calmness of his eyes. The time seems to go by so slow until you look up one day and realize they’re not as little as you had thought. Time is sneaky like that. As I watch my own family grow and migrate through the different seasons of our lives, it’s something I so deeply want to document for others. There is something extraordinary in the small parts of our every day ordinary life that many don't see until the moment has escaped us and we're left but reminiscing. I want to capture the uniqueness of each of my clients and the dynamics of their families. The smiles, the laughter and even the chaos, it’s all a part of whatever current season of life you're in and it’s my goal to capture those details so that you can cherish them for generations to come.
