“THE PURPOSE OF LIFE IS TO DISCOVER YOUR GIFT. THE WORK OF LIFE IS TO DEVELOP IT. THE MEANING OF LIFE IS TO GIVE YOUR GIFT AWAY.”
welcome, i'm so glad you're here...
I'm a wife and mother of 4 (who are forever keeping me on my toes) when I'm not lugging around a camera. HA! I lied, there is rarely a moment without a camera in hand. I'm a homebody. I love my family like no other and I'm the happiest when we're all together. Whether it's movie night at home or off adventuring to some new place, it fills my mama heart. I believe in practicing positivity and gratitude. It's amazing how much your perspective changes when you can look at things in a positive light. Most days you will either find me watching some sort of documentary show (knowledge is power), whipping something up in the kitchen (food is the way to this lady's heart), or tackling another house project (which seems to be never ending as a homeowner).
Photography started for me by chance and somehow grew into something more. As a mother of kids with such vast age ranges, I'm literally going through big firsts and big lasts, it's honestly bittersweet. It's the little moments in my ordinary every day life that mean the most to me. The way my daughter's hair curls after a shower, or the way her little fingers fit my palm and how her face lights up when she smiles and for a second she looks like a little chipmunk. Or, how my 18 year old son looks more and more like a man and less a boy, the quirkiness of his smirk and the calmness of his eyes. The time seems to go by so slow until you look up one day and realize they're not as little as you had thought. Time is a literal thief. As I watch my own family grow and migrate through the different seasons of our lives, it's something I so deeply want to document for others. Whether it's your first love and the joy of marriage, the celebration of growing your family or just because; I want to be there for it. I want to tell your story.
